Site training shouldn't end at the initiation visit

The message around training for site teams is loud and clear: one size does not fit all. Site initiation visits are valuable, but often focused on the operational considerations of the protocol, and targeted at investigators.

What sponsors can do:

Expand training past the site initiation visit, to encompass mentoring and one-to-one sessions, webinars, and on-demand training that site staff can refer to throughout a study, on the go as needed. Collect feedback from sites and understand the variability across roles, geography, and site size, to tailor training plans accordingly. Even ensuring time is protected for cross-team debriefs after participant visits is an opportunity for empathy, learning, and sharing best practice.
